The damage is invisible from the outside.
Devastating from the inside.
Most homeowners assume the shingles on top of their roof are what keep water out. They are not. Beneath every roof is a layer of waterproof felt — and that felt is the only thing standing between your home and water damage. The shingles exist for one reason only: to protect the felt underneath.
Waterproof felt is highly effective when it's intact. But it is not built to survive on its own. Hail punches through it. UV sunlight degrades it. Wind tears it. Without thick, healthy shingles absorbing those forces above it, the felt breaks down — and once it does, water moves straight into your home.
Shingles rarely fall off or visibly break. They simply wear down over time and grow incredibly thin — losing the protective elements that shield the waterproof felt from hail, UV sunlight, and wind. From the outside, everything looks normal. Most homeowners only find out when it's too late and water damage has already occurred.
Do you know how old your roof is?—
Most homeowners spend years hoping everything is fine — never knowing.
Schedule your free roof inspection and you'll know for certain. Here's what you'll get ↓
We pull permit history to determine whether a roof repair or replacement has ever been documented on your property.
We cross-reference NOAA and other trusted meteorological sources to identify every documented hail event near your property — including exact size and date.
We inspect every visible surface of your roof, document our findings with photos, and deliver a written report you can keep. Just the facts about what's above your head.
No pressure. No obligation.
Just the facts about what's above your head.
Yes — completely free. Both the inspection and the report are 100% free. No hidden fees, no built-in costs, no pre-payment. You don't pay us a dime for either, and even if you choose not to work with us, you still keep both at no cost.
Well, maybe you shouldn't. Personally, if a roofer showed up to my home, performed an inspection, and afterward I didn't trust them or thought they were lying to me, I certainly wouldn't let them replace my roof — and I hope you wouldn't either. Here's what I'd want to see before I trusted a roofer with my home: photos documenting everything they find, a written report I can keep regardless of what I decide, materials rated for what the weather actually delivers, and someone who will shoot me straight and tell me "your roof is fine and you don't need anything" if that's the truth of the matter. That's how we work. If after seeing all that, you decide we're not the right fit, that's your decision and it's no hard feelings. Ultimately I just want your home taken care of the way you deserve. If you'd like to see what's actually going on up there, schedule a free inspection — 20 minutes, no obligation, no pressure, and you'll know exactly where your roof stands.
No — pressure isn't our style. We don't see the point in pressuring someone to buy a necessity. No one pressures you to buy food or water, and the same logic should apply to a roof. If you actually need a roof, why would I have to convince you of that? If the reality of severe water damage hurting the biggest investment of your life doesn't make you want to get a new roof, I definitely won't be able to. As much as I'd love to say I'm a great salesman who can work a Jedi mind trick on you — that's simply not true. I'm a car guy and an outdoors guy who works in roofing. At the end of the day, it's your house and your investment. I can present you with the facts, and I'll even tell you to get a second or third opinion if you don't like my verdict. But I can't make the decision for you, and I won't waste your time or energy trying to convince you of something you've already decided against.
Every roof we install is built with materials rated to withstand the conditions North Texas actually delivers — not the minimum required to pass inspection. We don't cut corners on what goes above your head. We offer architectural shingles rated for impact at minimum grade 3, with grade 4 available for maximum hail protection. We use quality underlayment to shield from ice and water at all vulnerable points, and proper drip edge and flashing sealed to code. For shingles, we typically recommend Atlas or Malarkey for their build quality, strength, and broad color selection. If you have something else in mind, let us know and we'll walk you through your options.
During the roof install, we document the entire process for you. We'll show you everything that comes off your roof — especially the felt, as that is the most important part. Without pulling the felt up, the water damage on the decking underneath can never be seen or inspected, and that's the most important step on any roof. Once you've seen what came off, we'll walk you through what's going back on. If you have a question or concern at any point in the process, say something — it's your home, and you're entitled to peace of mind. Even if you'd like to pull up a lawn chair and watch the whole thing, you're more than welcome — though I wouldn't recommend it. The AC inside is a lot more comfortable.
No. As long as we have access to the exterior of your property, we can complete the inspection without you present.
Most inspections are completed within 10 to 20 minutes depending on the size of your roof.
After the inspection you receive a written report of your roof's condition so you can make an informed next decision.
90% of the time we complete a full roof in a single day. Depending on the size, slope, temperature, or weather, it may run into a second day — but that's the exception, not the rule.
Yes — always. We do a full magnetic nail sweep, remove all debris, and walk the property before we leave. Your yard and driveway will be clean when we're done.
Absolutely. We will never leave you in the dark. If something comes up after the job is done, you reach out and we respond. That's not a maybe — that's how we operate.
No obligation. No pressure. Just the facts about what's above your head.
